New Appliance Installation

When you buy a new appliance, the job isn't done when it arrives at your door. You need it moved into place, connected safely, and tested before you can use it. Our customers call us because they want a professional to handle the water, gas, or electrical hookups and avoid the hassle of lifting and disposal.

We load the new appliance and our tool kit, which includes a level, wrenches, a multimeter, pipe thread tape, and a dolly with straps. On site, we disconnect and remove the old unit, then position the new one, connect supply lines or cords, check for leaks or voltage, and verify level operation before we finish.

A simple like-for-like refrigerator swap takes less time than a gas range that needs a new line or a washer that requires a different drain hose setup. Access matters: narrow doorways, stairs, or tight laundry closets add time. The condition of existing hookups, such as corroded valves or outdated wiring, can also affect the job's complexity and cost.

On installation day, we protect your floors and walls with drop cloths and moving blankets. After the new appliance is running and the old one is hauled away, we remove all packaging and debris. Before we arrive, clear the path to the installation spot and ensure the area around the hookups is accessible. Afterward, you can use the appliance immediately.
